Welcome to the Grande Rétrospective Musicale de l'Année MMIX! (roughly translates to "The Great Musical Retrospect of the Year MMIX") This special, yearly megamix produced by DJ Bourg is a compilation of what we could call the "best of" the musical scene in 2009, covering a vast array of styles from Pop/Rock to House and Electro, all blended up in a 66 minutes set.

The track selection is vastly based on Quebecian and Canadian charts (as the DJ is from Quebec), with some influence from the American charts as well. Some of the songs have been picked based on preferences by DJ Bourg himself. A few songs had to be left out, as it's not always possible to place them in the mix. But we can't please everybody in a one-hour megamix anyway!

No special « remix » has been used for the production of this mix (such as Ultimix, Funkymix versions or home-made remixes by other DJs). All of the songs in the mix used the original version, or, in some cases, an officiel remix taken off the CD/12" single. Thus all of the remixed parts are done by me.

With that said, I hope you have a great time listening to this retrospect, and wish you a happy 2010!
