This is official, the brand-new mix BOURGMIX 2012 PART 1 is now online and available not only for listening, but also as a download! 60 minutes of music, featuring the Chart Mix, which includes songs popular at the moment, and the Special Mix, “20 Years of Music”, 20 songs representing their respective year of release, starting with 1992 up to 2012!

At the opposite of previous mixes, the data is spread onto two websites. You will have to go to Mixcloud to access the tracklist, and on Soundcloud to download it to your computer. If you’re here just to enjoy the music (a.k.a. play it), you can go on whatever site mentioned above, it doesn’t matter!

First, those of you in the House scene have probably heard of the track Greyhound by Swedish House Mafia, previously known as Inks and Venom (it went thropugh a lot of names before being correctly IDed). THis managed managed to deeply touch your DJ present here and made him remix it! You can download the track here for free (click the title when redirected to the next page). Play it, share it! Oh, and in case you don’t get the Gelasbourg name, this is my House alias.

Second, a new mix series of mine entitled Bourgmix 2012 will see the day soon! This new series will focus on current songs, whether they be commercial, non-commercial, Pop, House or whatever. It’s gonna be an eclectic mix of Electronic Dance Music releases, all-mixed on beat and on-key! A preview snippet is currently programmed to play on several radio stations:

A remix of Set The Fire To The Rain by Adele. I was tired of hearing the same song over and over on the radio, and decided to give it a different twist in a genre of music I’ll never get tired of, that is, Classic Eurodance.

In hopes of getting back into the loop production-wise, I present you my own interpretation of two songs that are being in most DJs playlists in discotheques of the world these days: “Rattle” » by the Bingo Players and “Ladi Dadi” by Steve Aoki featuring Wynter Gordon, both remixed by me as Gelasbourg (name used for productions done in more House and Electro styles). Those remixes have been created for two remix contests that are being held on right now on the Beatport website. It’s now voting time, and you can make a difference!
